We came back from our Christmas holidays in January and we jumped straight back in to our Microsoft Dream Space Challenge no. 4 which focused on the evolving technology of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Pupils learned about Microsoft's initiatives which are based on 'AI for good' with a focus on 'WildMe' which builds open software and artificial intelligence for the conservation research community. As part of the challenge, pupils researched animals that are currently endangered and recreated either 2D or 3D replicas of these animals while creating their own algorithm which would enable AI to identify their chosen animal. Pupils really enjoyed this challenge.
